Churches need to legally use copyrighted music in worship services, but managing individual permissions from thousands of copyright holders is impractical. ONE LICENSE needed an innovative platform to sell blanket licenses to churches while tracking usage and calculating royalties for rights holders.
Our Solution
In 2003, we built a pioneering web application that revolutionized church music licensing:

The Challenge
Auto dealerships spend heavily to acquire customers but struggle to retain them after the initial sale. Krex needed a platform to help dealerships maintain relationships with vehicle owners through automated service reminders, recall notifications, and personalized communications—all driven by real-time data from dealer management systems.
Our Solution
We designed and operate a multi-tenant platform connecting dealerships, customers, and vehicle data:
- →Customer interface for vehicle owners to receive service reminders, schedule appointments, and access vehicle information
- →Dealer portal for dealership staff to manage customer communications, track retention metrics, and monitor campaign performance
- →Administration interface for Krex to manage dealer accounts, configure automation rules, and analyze platform-wide data
- →DMS integration engine that parses data from multiple dealer management systems, normalizes formats, and keeps customer/vehicle records synchronized
